Patient Safety

Because Your Safety is our Number One Priority

We are proud to make infection protection and control, safety, and education a part of every team members training.

OSAP Certified Safety Standards

Before Your Appointment

A  team member will be reaching out to you in advance of your appointment to review Covid-related health questions.
Your appointment may need to be rescheduled if….

You have traveled 14 days prior to your appointment by air, bus, train or cruise ship

You or anyone in your household has symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (fever, dry cough, runny nose/upper respiratory infection, sore throat, loss of smell/taste, extreme fatigue, muscle aches, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, family sickness)

Arriving to Your Appointment

As of July 6, the City of Edina requires you to wear a mask (cloth or disposable) in buildings open to the general public.

Upon arrival, please wait at the door and call or text us to let us know you have arrived.  Our Patient Coordinator will notify a team member and will meet you at the door.

Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer and put on your mask before entering the building.  We have added hand sanitizers throughout our office for your convenience.

Please do not arrive with any family members or friends, unless you are a parent/guardian bringing a minor for their appointment.  We would like to minimize the number of people in the office; however, parents/guardians/drivers may wait in the reception room for their family member as necessary.

During Your Appointment

Once you have entered our office, we will take your temperature. Each patient will be escorted directly into a treatment room, rather than wait in the reception area.  As always, each room has been cleaned thoroughly and new sterilized equipment is used with each patient.

Our team will have you swish with a hydrogen peroxide rinse prior to examination or treatment.

Added Wellness Measures

All team members are following strict protocols, including: daily temperature readings, hand hygiene when entering/exiting rooms, and the use of enhanced PPE including N95 respirators and face shields.  We will look a little different next time you see us!

We have placed air purifiers in each treatment room and reception area. We researched to find an extremely effective unit : Surgically Clean Air.
One characteristic that has made the Corona virus so difficult is it is a particularly small size: 0.1 micron. The air purifiers we are using WILL filter particles that are down to 0.1 micron in size. In addition, the purifier has the following features:
• HEPA filter (that captures 99.998% of particles down to 0.1 micron size)
• Carbon filtration
• UV light
• An Ionizing chamber (converts positive ions in the air into the negative ions and the negative ions attract air borne particles so those can then be filtered out of the air)

We are sanitizing common area surfaces (door handles, restroom, etc) hourly throughout the office.

We have added several hand sanitizers for your use throughout our office space.

We have added clear “sneeze guard” shields at our reception area.  For contactless payment, we have touchless credit terminals on-site or you can pay by check or credit card online.

As always, please call us with any questions or concerns.

We look forward to seeing you!
