Jana
Patient Coordinator
Jana has been working in the dental industry for nearly two decades. She graduated from Turpin High in Oklahoma before attending the Scott Lewis Cosmetology School in Bloomington. She joined the Brandenburg team recently and has brought her extensive experience and positive attitude to the office. Patients can find Jana at the check-in desk, answering calls, greeting arrivals, and ensuring appointments are running smoothly. Jana enjoys spending her time around people and helping wherever she’s needed.
What makes this practice unique, Jana says, is that it’s an all-women practice. Jana and her coworkers, along with Dr. Heidi Brandenburg, are invested in providing a welcoming atmosphere and positive experience for all patients.
Outside of work, Jana enjoys taking walks around the neighborhood and tending to her garden. She also enjoys getting lost in a good book and working on her latest crafting project. Jana loves to travel whenever possible and enjoys taking trips down to Texas to visit her family. At home, she cares for three dogs and four cats.
Kellie
Practice Manager
Kellie attended school at the University of Minnesota and completed additional training at Hennepin Technical College’s Culinary Program and the Lakeland Medical Dental Academy. She received an associate’s degree in culinary arts and a dental assistant license. Kellie has been working in the dental field for three decades and is a recent addition to the Heidi Brandenburg practice, bringing her extensive experience with her as well as her sense of humor and positive attitude.
Kellie’s interest in the field began at a young age, as she observed her father’s dentistry career. Her organizational skills and compassionate nature enable her to oversee office operations, manage patient scheduling and ensure that staff productivity remains high. Within her community, Kellie is dedicated to helping women persevere through their breast cancer journeys, as she is a survivor herself.
Aside from her duties at the office, Kellie is also a trained chef. She enjoys traveling, cooking new recipes, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with her three pups.
Jenny
Dental Assistant
Jenny is a 1995 graduate of Lakeland Dental Academy, and she’s been an extremely essential part of our team for two decades. As a licensed dental assistant, you’ll see Jenny in the office working chairside with the doctor. Jenny loves working with people and says it’s one of the biggest reasons she chose to pursue a career in dentistry. She’s stayed at the office for so many years because of the awesome patients, teammates, and doctor. What would Jenny be doing if she wasn’t a dental assistant? She says she’d probably make a living as a professional organizer. Patients and team members alike love Jenny because she’s caring, passionate, competent, professional, and loves a good conversation. In her free time, Jenny is either traveling to an exciting new destination with her family or relaxing with a good book.
Nikki
Dental Hygienist
Nikki has been in the field of dentistry for over a decade and joined the practice in early 2024. She received her education from MSU. As a dental hygienist, Nikki’s responsibilities include preparing patients for treatment and assisting the doctor. Nikki is fueled by her love for talking with patients and helping them in their oral health journeys. She believes what sets this practice apart is the comprehensive, quality care offered here. She loves that there is always something to learn in this environment.
Outside the office, Nikki spends time with her family, running the kids and dog around. She’s involved in her local church doing volunteer work and enjoys hiking and time by the water.
Leana
Dental Hygienist
Leana has worked as a dental assistant since 2016, focusing on educating patients on their treatment and performing assessments and cleanings. The thing she enjoys the most about her job is building relationships with her patients. Leana believes what sets this practice apart is the strong bonds the staff build with their wonderful patients.
Leana is passionate about her continuing education and regularly pursues new courses. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, working out, and spending time with friends.
